PROGRAMS:

MBSR (Mindfulness Based
Stress Reduction) 

An eight week experiential program addressing patterns of thinking, feeling and action for managing stress, anxiety and depression.

PROVEN RESULTS.
Developed and researched since 1979 at the University of Massachusetts' Medical School, Centre for Mindfulness.   Over 17,000 participants have completed the program with incredible results.   Most participants who enrol have either physical or psychological stress related conditions, prior to commencing the program.

MBSR Programs - Commencing Dates and Times:

The following programs in 2009 are run on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 9pm

Summary 09:   February / March
Dates for the 8 sessions are:  February 11, 18, 25; March 4, 11, 18 & 25; and April 1.

Autumn 09:   April / May
Dates for the 8 sessions are: April 8, 15, 22 & 29; and May 6, 13, 20 & 27.

Winter 09:   September / early October
Dates for the 8 sessions are: September 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30; and October 7, 14 & 21.

Spring 09:  late October / November / early December
Dates for the 8 sessions are: October 28; November 4, 11, 18 & 25; and December 2, 9 & 16.

(Look for the Alexander Technique Institute sign on the front of the building then up the stairs)

Directions:

Nearest cross street with parking is McHatten St.  There is plenty of parking available.

If coming by public transport, the nearest railway station is North Sydney station.  We are a 10 minute walk up the hill from the station, on the left hand side heading north.

Enquire about course fees, which includes 20 hrs face to face teaching; workbook, CD's and limited phone or email contact between sessions.
